2025 Final OHSAA Football Computer Ratings

OHSAA Football Computer Ratings – Oct. 26, 2025 (Final)
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Following the conclusion of the football regular-season Saturday night, the Ohio High School Athletic Association announced the final computer ratings, playoff qualifiers and first-round pairings on Sunday afternoon. Unless otherwise noted, all first-round games will be played on Friday, October 31, with kickoffs set for 7 p.m.
With the reduction of playoff qualifiers per region from 16 to 12, the top four seeds in each region will receive a first-round bye. In the first round, the No. 5 seed will host the No. 12 seed, the No. 6 seed will host the No. 11 seed, the No. 7 seed will host the No. 10 seed, and the No. 8 seed will host the No. 9 seed.
The better seeded team will serve as the host through the first three rounds of the playoffs. The regional playoffs will follow bracket format. Rebracketing will occur for the state semifinals.
The 72 largest schools are in Division I, while the remaining schools are divided equally in Divisions II through VII (approximately 106 schools in each division). OHSAA Football Computer Ratings – Oct. 21, 2025 (Entering Week 10)
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the fifth official football computer ratings on Tuesday. The weekly ratings report will be released each Tuesday for the remainder of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, October 26.
The top 12 in each region will qualify for the playoffs, with the top four seeds getting a first-round bye.

The Northern Lakes League (NLL) is excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Katafias as their new Assistant Commissioner / JH Commissioner.

Kevin is a retired administrator from Genoa Area Schools and filled several roles within their district including HS Assistant Principal (1995 – 1999) / Athletic Director and JH Principal (1999 – 2024).  He was a member of the Northwest District Athletic Board (2007 – 2022) and the OHSAA Board of Directors (2017 – 2019).  He is currently an OHSAA Official for Football and Basketball (48 years) and has been selected to officiate several state tournament championships in both sports.

“I look forward to working with the NLL Junior High and High School Athletic Directors and Principals to enhance the interscholastic experience of students in the league. Athletics are so important in the development of adolescents as they interact with teammates and coaches.”

The Northern Lakes League looks forward to the guidance and contributions that Kevin will bring to our league.
